About Never Too Late to Swim

Search for adult swim lessons and most of what comes back is built for kids, with toddler classes, swim teams and age-group levels. Many swim schools teach only children, and their websites rarely say so up front. Whether a complete beginner is welcome, whether you can book a private lesson and what a lesson costs are buried on each provider's website if they're published at all.

Never Too Late to Swim answers those questions for each place we list. We read the provider's own website for adult lessons, beginner classes, private and group options, fear-of-water programs, year-round pools, Masters swimming and published lesson prices. Places whose websites describe only children's lessons aren't listed, and when a website doesn't say something we leave it blank rather than guess.

We're an independent directory. Providers don't pay to be listed, and what we report comes from their own websites. If you teach swimming and something is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.

Never Too Late to Swim currently lists 1,038 swim programs in 33 states. Details come from each place's own website, and each listing shows when it was last checked.
