How we verify listings

Every swim program on Never Too Late to Swim starts from public business data (name, address, phone, hours), then goes through these steps:

1. We read each place's own website to record details like adult lessons, type of place, and beginner-friendly. An AI model does the first pass and must quote the page it relied on; if the website doesn't say, we leave the detail blank rather than guess.
2. Answers the model isn't sure about go to a person for review before they appear.
3. We remove places that are permanently closed, and show the date each listing was last checked.

We only list places whose websites say they teach swimming to adults. Swim schools that teach only children, and pools that offer only open swim, water fitness or swim team, aren't included.
